Energy efficiency and energy saving have always been an important field for Rivne municipal territorial community. In recent years, the Government prioritized the implementation of a consistent energy-efficiency policy, resource-saving technologies, and environmental protection.
In this regard the administration submitted an application for participation in the PROSPECT+ training program regarding the search of innovative financing for energy saving projects.
During the PROSPECT+ training cycle, the winners of the competition will have the opportunity to benefit from the experience of mentor cities/regions, which will help them gain new knowledge and skills in such thematic areas and financing schemes as crowdfunding, ESCO contracts, energy communities, etc.
There will also be an opportunity to establish cooperation with municipalities that implemented or are implementing energy efficiency projects under similar financing schemes.
