As part of the implementation of the NEFСO-3 project "Implementation of energy saving in institutions and institutions belonging to the municipal property of Rivne and modernization of street lighting", implemented by the Rivne City Council together with the Northern Ecological Financial Corporation NEFСO, the implementation of energy efficiency measures has begun, namely - electricity saving measures.
Many months of preparatory work gives its results. In particular, in accordance with the tender procedures carried out by the Department of Education and agreed with the partner companies of the project NEFСO, SVECO&GARDE, supplier companies were identified, contract agreements were signed and modern LED lamps were purchased for a total of UAH 900,000, which will allow to start improvement work in the coming days. lighting systems in 11 preschool educational institutions, 18 institutions of general secondary education and music school No. 2, by replacing the existing incandescent lamps with modern LED ones, which, in addition to reducing energy consumption, have a significantly longer service life.
We would like to remind you that the replacement of internal lighting lamps with energy-efficient ones is part of the first component of the project, which, among other things, includes the implementation of measures for thermal modernization of educational institutions in the city of Rivne, such as: insulation of foundations and walls, insulation of roofs, replacement of windows and doors with energy-efficient ones; installation of individual heat points (ITP) and balancing of the heating system; replacement of outdated kitchen equipment; installation of solar collectors, installation of aerators to reduce water consumption; installation of air recuperators in sports halls, inclusiveness measures (arrangement of ramps, installation of tactile tiles, etc.).
The project implementation group under the leadership of Deputy Mayor Ihor Krechkevych, which includes representatives of the Department for Strategic Development and Investments, the Department of Budget and Finance, the Department of Capital Construction, the Department of Education, Municipal Enterprise "Misksvitlo" continues together with the Central Office of NEFCO in Ukraine, technical SVECO& GARDE consultants work on the coordination of the necessary technical details and conditions aimed at the implementation of the next stages of the project.
