Work on the implementation of energy efficiency measures in three educational institutions is ongoing

Our cooperation with the NEFCO corporation regarding energy efficiency measures in three educational institutions of the Rivne community continues.
Work is ongoing at the Rivne educational and rehabilitation center "Special Child", preschool education institution (nursery-kindergarten) of compensatory type (special) "Paginets Center" and preschool education institution (nursery-kindergarten) of compensatory type (special) No.35.
The buildings needed major repairs for a long time, had low energy efficiency, etc. At the same time, approximately 410 children visit the institutions, including children of internally displaced persons, children with disabilities. That is why these objects were selected to realize in the project to improve their living conditions.
Personnel of the Department of Strategic Development and Investments continue to coordinate the project (the amount of the EU grant is 1.56 million euros), the preparation of which was also joined last year by representatives of the Department of Major Construction and the Department of Education of the Rivne City Council.
The project "Reconstruction and restoration of the municipal infrastructure of Rivne city to support the urgent needs for internally displaced persons" is implemented with the financial support of the European Union, with the participation of NEFCO, as an executive organization, within the framework of the NIP Program "EU Support to Urgent Housing Needs for Internally Displaced Persons in Ukraine".
