We present the Strategy of cooperation and marketing communications for the promotion of Rivne's traditional culinary heritage

The Department of Strategic Development and Investment presents to your attention the Strategy of cooperation and marketing communications for the promotion of the traditional culinary heritage of Rivne (hereinafter - the Strategy), developed as part of the implementation of the project "Cultural heritage of cuisine - promotion of culinary traditions through the professionalization of the gastronomic offer of Lublin and Rivne".

Vsevolod Polishchuk, a well-known restaurant marketer and co-founder of the Galician Kitchen Club NGO, was involved in the development of the Strategy.

Since November 2020, active work has been ongoing on the development of a strategic document, determination of the main directions of promotion and popularization of the idea of gastrotourism, ways of promoting the territorial community at the international level, the possibility of providing a new impetus for the development of HoReCa establishments and, as a result, the creation of prerequisites for the improvement of socio-economic living conditions of the community.

In close cooperation with restaurateurs, historians, cultural experts and all those interested in the development of the territorial community, an analysis of the state and prospects of culinary and gastronomic tourism in the Rivne region was carried out, the forms of popularization of the culinary heritage of Rivne were determined, and the meaning and signs of the concept of "Rivne cuisine" were formulated.

Together with partners from the city of Lublin, ideas were developed regarding cultural and professional exchanges at various levels, joint holding of festivals, which are the basis of one of the sections of the Strategy.

On May 15, 2021, during the "Matsyk" gastronomic festival in Rivne, which was attended by Rivne Mayor Oleksandr Tretyak, Rivne City Council Secretary Viktor Shakyrzyan, Rivne Regional State Administration Chairman Vitaliy Koval, an official delegation from Lublin, community representatives, the administration of strategic development and investment issues, the Strategy of Cooperation and Marketing Communications for the Promotion of Rivne's Traditional Culinary Heritage was officially presented.

And the logical conclusion of the project was the signing of the Agreement on cooperation in the field of gastronomic tourism by the deputy mayor Igor Krechkevych during the international gastronomic conference held in Lublin, which is a continuation of the close cooperation between the municipalities of Rivne and Lublin, and will be a guarantee of establishing new, promising ways of implementing joint projects in the field of marketing communications, will form the image of the territorial community as a reliable partner open to international cooperation.

We would like to thank Vsevolod Polishchuk and all those involved in the work on the Strategy for a thorough study of Rivne's culinary heritage, and the Poland-Belarus-Ukraine Cross-Border Cooperation Program 2014-2020 for the opportunity to implement it.

In the near future, the Strategy document, the visualization of which was developed by the graphic designer Olena Zlenko, will take on a paper form, produced in Ukrainian and English, for the possibility of presentation at international events and during official meetings.
