On May 25, 2018, representatives of NEFCO, Sweco, GARDE visited the city of Rivne on a working visit. The issues of introduction of energy saving technologies in communal educational institutions were discussed.
The meeting was attended by City Council Secretary Serhiy Paladiychuk, Deputy Mayor, Working Group Chairman Vitaliy Herman, NEFCO Ukraine Chief Investment Adviser Yulia Shevchuk and Sweco & GARDE Expert Group Manager Volodymyr Deboy.
Energy efficiency is one of the main strategic directions of development of the municipal sector of the city of Rivne, a necessary tool to achieve comfortable conditions for the operation of buildings of educational institutions, health care, public institutions and the implementation of European quality of life standards.Taking into account the successful implementation of projects related to the implementation of energy efficiency measures in secondary schools №18 and 27, in the framework of the program "Energy Conservation", there was a discussion of financing and implementation of another energy efficient project in the educational space of the city.
The project envisages the implementation of energy saving measures, namely: replacement of windows and doors with energy-saving metal-plastic, wall insulation and facade decoration.
Thus, the city of Rivne continues successful and fruitful cooperation in the implementation of projects together with the Northern Environmental Finance Corporation NEFCO.
