NEFCO has increased the grant amount for implementing energy efficiency in public buildings and street lighting

From now, the total amount of the grant will be EUR 4 696 114. With grant funds, it is planned to insulate municipal preschool education facilities, install solar photovoltaic stations on the roofs of municipal health care facilities, and update street lighting on the main and secondary streets of Rivne.

"We are grateful to the NEFCO for the opportunity to implement energy-saving measures at the expense of grant funds. In the current martial law time for the country, it is difficult for the hromada (community) to finance such measures on its own. After the implementation of the project measures, the consumption of thermal and electric energy will decrease. This will contribute to significant savings of taxpayers' money. In addition, with these measures, we continue the progress of the hromada (community) in terms of energy efficiency, saving resources, and modernizing networks and systems," said Secretary of the Rivne City Council Viktor Shakyrzyan.
