Representatives of the Department of Strategic Development and Investment took part in the online dialogue "Recovery and Reconstruction through Municipal Partnership Projects", which took place today - July 28, 2022, as part of the "U-LEAD with Europe" Program.
The main goal of the dialogue is to present and discuss the strategy for the restoration and reconstruction of communities, which are based on a project approach and ensure the key role of municipalities in the efforts to restore territories in Ukraine - both those that were directly affected by the war and those that ensure the reception of displaced citizens and enterprises.
For the Rivne urban territorial community, as a community that accepts displaced persons and relocated businesses, it is important to implement investment projects that will contribute to the creation of additional jobs and provision of services for the population and businesses.
- damage assessment as a basis for rebuilding and developing a recovery strategy;
- determination of service needs in connection with population displacement;
- relocation of enterprises to safer areas and improvement of employment opportunities;
- the capacity of local communities to manage inclusive recovery and reconstruction processes through ready-to-implement municipal investment projects for recovery.
Strong and capable communities are the key to rebuilding Ukraine!
