Participation in the event "Renewable energy sources for the sustainability of Ukraine"

Representatives of the Department of Strategic Development and Investment of the Department of Economic Development participated in the online presentation of the project "Renewable energy sources for the sustainability of Ukraine".
The following issues were considered during the event:
- the current state of the city's heat supply system;
- sources and areas of heat supply.
Also, during the event, the main aspects of the project were considered: technical solution, technical and economic indicators, obstacles and advantages.
Special attention is paid to the project selection criteria:
1. Availability of a public building and qualified personnel ready to support the implementation of the project.
2. Community involvement in the project.
3. Ability to further maintain the system.
4. Ability to start implementation quickly.
For the Rivne urban territorial community, the topic of renewable sources is extremely relevant, because the community is headed for the course of energy independence.
Speakers of the event were:
• Oleksandr Butenko, Deputy Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine;
• Andriy Martyniuk, executive director of the NGO "Ekoklub";
• Dmytro Sakaliuk, expert of the Ecoclub NGO.
