On October 5, 2019, representatives of NEFCO, Sveco and Garde paid a working visit to Rivne.
The experts continued work on the project "Implementation of energy saving in institutions and facilities belonging to the municipal property of Rivne and modernization of street lighting", which will be implemented jointly with the Northern Environmental Finance Corporation NEFCO and the financial organization that will provide a grant for the project.
Experts together with representatives of the city (Department of Strategic Development and Investment, Department of Capital Construction, Department of Budget and Finance, Department of Education, KP "Misksvitlo") worked on an interim report on writing a feasibility study of the project.
The project includes two components: implementation of thermal modernization measures in educational institutions and reconstruction of street lighting.
The project plans to raise about 6.5 million euros (including grant funds) for its implementation.
