On September 25 and 27, a number of extremely important meetings were held as part of the implementation of the NEFСO-3 project "Implementation of energy saving in institutions and institutions belonging to communal property of the city of Rivne and modernization of street lighting", which is implemented by the Rivne City Council together with the Northern Environmental Financial Corporation NEFСO.
The meetings were held with the participation of Deputy Mayor Ihor Krechkevich, the project implementation group, which includes representatives of the Department for Strategic Development and Investments, the Department of Education, the Department of Budget and Finance, the Department of Capital Construction, KP "Misksvitlo", representatives of the NEFСO company, technical consultants SVECO/GARDE.
The main topics of the meetings were the discussion and final approval of certain technical details and conditions necessary for the preparation of tender documentation for the implementation of works related to capital repairs and the implementation of measures for thermal modernization of preschool education institutions "Paginets" Center, Rivne educational and rehabilitation center "Osoblyva Dytyna", pre-school education institution (nursery-kindergarten) of compensatory type, preschool education institutions No. 14, 33, 35, 36, 37, 57, ZOSH 8, 13, 28, as well as modernization of the street lighting system, which, in turn, opens up opportunities for advertising in the nearest time, tenders for design and execution of works, identification of contractor firms and the start of construction works.
We would like to remind you that the Project includes two components, namely: the implementation of thermal modernization measures and the modernization of street lighting. The first component will include a number of measures for thermal modernization of educational institutions in the city of Rivne, such as: insulation of foundations and walls, insulation of roofs, replacement of windows and doors with energy-efficient ones; installation of individual heat points (ITP) and balancing of the heating system; installation of solar collectors, installation of aerators to reduce water consumption; installation of air recuperators in sports halls, inclusiveness measures (arrangement of ramps, installation of tactile tiles, etc.).
The ecological, economic and social aspects of the implementation of the project will consist in the fact that public buildings will receive an improved indoor climate due to thermal renewal, a reduction in the costs of paying for communal services, which in turn will contribute to a reduction in local budget expenditures (estimated total savings of UAH 3 million /year), reducing CO 2 emissions, improving the visualization of buildings, improving the quality of street lighting, increasing accessibility and increasing the sense of security of citizens.
