The Rivne City Territorial Community, together with NEFCO, continues the implementation of the NEFCO-3 investment project

In 2021, the implementation of the project "Implementation of energy saving in establishments and institutions belonging to the municipal property of Rivne and modernization of street lighting" began, the coordinator of the project is the Department of Strategic Development and Investment.

We will remind you that the total cost of the project is 6.731 million euros and includes two components: the implementation of thermal modernization measures (31 public buildings, 11 of which are subject to full energy modernization), as well as the modernization of street lighting - the replacement of more than 4 thousand street lighting lamps on 86 streets of the city new ones with LED lamps, replacement of 195 lamp posts, etc.

In addition to improving the visualization of buildings, the conditions of children and staff staying in the premises, improving the lighting of the city streets, one of the most important aspects of the project is the saving of budget funds for the payment of energy carriers. According to the technical and economic substantiation, the implementation of the measures will save the territorial community's budget about 27 million hryvnias. annually (heat supply by 40% - UAH 5.6 million, electricity by 24% - UAH 7.4 million, water supply by 5-6% - UAH 40,000).

For example, the implementation of two previous projects has already made it possible to reduce expenditures from the local budget for paying for the consumption of energy resources in educational institutions in the years 2018-2020, in the amount of more than 3 million hryvnias, last year the savings amounted to 800 thousand hryvnias.
