Today, representatives of the Rivne City Council's executive committee, including mayor Oleksandr Tretyak, hosted in our city Mr. David Novy, Consul General of the Czech Republic in Lviv, and Mr. Vladimir Kadleu - Consul, Deputy Consul General of the Czech Republic in Lviv.

The mayor told Mr. Consul General about the current needs of the city of Rivne, in particular, that under the conditions of martial law, power generators is top a priority for the city, and has also noted that the city is considering the project to create a rehabilitation center for military personnel. Attention was also paid to other areas that need development and renewal, namely the flee of trolleybuses.

Roman Shyrko, deputy head of the Office of for Strategic development and investments of the Department of Economic Development, drew attention to the fact that Rivne and the Czech Republic have good trade relations. After all, the Czech Republic is the partner country to which Rivne exports the most goods (6,6651.3 thousand US dollars in 2020 - 5th place among the largest partner countries for the export of goods and 4044.6 thousand US dollars in 2021). The Czech Republic has a significant share in the import of goods - 1,649.6 thousand dollars. USA in 2020 and 1539.4 thousand dollars. USA in 2021.
