The Rivne City Territorial Community was invited to participate in training on preparation and implementation of investment projects with significant investments in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On State Support of Investment Projects with Significant Investments in Ukraine" organized by the State Institution "Office for Attracting and Supporting Investments" UkraineInvest, which The institution organized and conducted for representatives of territorial communities of Rivne and Volhynia regions.
The event was planned and held in the format of an interactive online platform to highlight the legislative norms that establish a system of investment incentives for projects that involve, in particular, the investment of more than 20 million euros, the creation of at least 80 new jobs. In this particular case, the adopted Law will allow for the creation of an effective mechanism for attracting significant investments in communities, creating new enterprises or modernizing old ones, developing infrastructure, reducing unemployment and filling local budgets, and also provides for a procedure for providing investment incentives, according to which between the investor and the state, and an investment agreement is also concluded by the territorial community. In turn, the community, as a party to the contract, will have the opportunity under the Law to provide such incentives to the investor, such as setting a lower land tax rate, providing funds in local budgets for the construction of adjacent infrastructure facilities.
During this training, professional speakers discussed the following issues: attraction of investors - new opportunities for communities; a system of support for investment projects with significant investments; investment incentives for investors; effective cooperation between communities and UkraineInvest.
Representatives of the Department of Strategic Development and Investment Executive Committee of the Rivne City Council took part in the training, which will not only allow the use of the information received during the preparation and implementation of investment projects, but also opens new platforms for presenting the potential of the Rivne City Territorial Community directly to potential investors , as the State institution "Office for attracting and supporting investments" UkraineInvest closely cooperates with investors who intend to implement investment projects with significant investments and receive incentives from the state and territorial communities.
It is pleasant to note that participation in this event was a logical continuation of the cooperation initiated between UkraineInvest and the Rivne City Territorial Community in developing joint steps to attract funds from the implementation of investment projects, creating new jobs, mastering "fresh" business standards and corporate culture into the economy of the community , and most importantly, presentations of the Rivne urban territorial community as promising for investment.
