Representatives of the Department of Strategic Development and Investments of the Department of Economic Development took part in the training on strategic planning today, October 27, 2022.
The training was organized with the support of the Department for Development of Communities and Territories of the Executive Office of the Rivne Regional Council together with the Institute of Political Education.
One of the speakers of the event was Oleksandr Solontay, who delivered a presentation "How does the community develop? Introduction to strategic community planning".
The speaker drew attention to the development indicators that should be specified in the Community Development Strategy document, and which are divided into the following categories:
- How is the population growing?
- Growth of wealth
- Jobs available
- Workforce
- How many taxes are paid per citizen.
The Rivne City Territorial Community is currently working on updating the Strategy document, because the approved community development strategy is the basis for receiving funds from the State Budget of Ukraine and international donors.
