A competitive application for participation in the training of the School of Economic Development for Territorial Communities has been submitted!

The Department of Strategic Development and Investment has prepared a competitive application for participation in training at the School of Economic Development for Territorial Communities! (MAYOR). The competition is held by the Eidos Center with the support of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.

In case of selection, three online modules and a final offline event await the participants of the Rivne City Territorial Community for networking of participants and the involvement of business representatives in dialogue and cooperation.

The program is designed for 6 months, from June to November 2021. There are 3 modules waiting for the participants, each of which lasts a week with an interval of 1 month and takes place in an online format.

During the MER school, the following topics will be considered:
  • Sustainable economic development. Planning and implementation.
  • Attracting additional resources for local development. DFRR, grant programs, investments.
  • The role of the investor in local economic development and best practices of interaction with business.
  • The final offline stage of the "Forum for assessing the investment capacity of communities".

With the support of mentors, the team of the Rivne City Territorial Community will have the opportunity to develop draft documents in the following areas:

  • strategic development of the territorial community;
  • attraction of additional financing on a permanent basis;
  • "Investment passport" as a tool for attracting investments, which will be presented at the final offline event.
